Follow these simple steps to clean your chair
Step 1: The first step requires proper dusting. You want to make sure that the surface is dust free before applying your cleaning solution. You can dust properly with a dry piece of rag, a duster or even a vacuum cleaner depending on the volume of dust. Better still, you may use a brush if you have one.
Note: Failure to dust your chair before applying the cleaning solution may cause dust to penetrate the wooden grain. If this happens often the material will begin to lose color over time
Step 2: Apply your oil based cleaner on your lint free rag or micro fibre cloth. Smear this solution on the chair to cover every area Make sure that no area is left untouched. Also ensure that the cleaner is evenly applied.
Note: After submerging the cloth in the oil based cleaner, wring it to remove the excess amount until it is damp. Don’t use cloth on the chair while it is yet dripping with the cleaner.
Step 3: After your chair is fullly covered with the cleaner, use a microfiber cloth to wipe the surface. Work your way around the rest pad, back rest, tubes all the way down to the legs. Take your time with this action so much of the oil comes off. Clean in the direction of the wooden grain, not against it so the cloth will leave no splinters or uneven coat.
